My name is Dr. Daniel Silva. I want to introduce myself to all present and future patients. I recently took over the dental practice of Moriches Dental Associates from Dr. Jayadevan. I want to share my professional skills and education with you. Still, I also believe it is important that you get to know me as a person.
I am a dedicated dentist, husband, and lifelong learner.
I graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health and minors in Studio Art and Biology. I then attended Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. I graduated in 2017, and underwent General Practice Residency at the Stony Brook University Hospital, with a subsequent Chief Residency where I furthered my training and honed my skills. I worked in private practice as an associate for five years. When the opportunity came along to acquire the Moriches Dental Associates dental practice, I did not hesitate.
I’ve lived in Suffolk for almost 20 years, with my wife Daniella and two Samoyeds, Momo and Xena. My second calling in life is probably art. I’m fond of painting and sculpture, but my favorite medium will always be pencil and paper, which I’ve done for over 25 years.
My other interests would probably be the New York Knicks and flying kites in Port Jefferson or any beach.
My wife and I often pursue our mutual interests, including cooking, baking, gardening, and a shared love of all things Halloween. Haunted houses, decorating, and dressing up are a lot of fun. We also look forward to traveling together, dancing classes, and spending time with our friends and families. I sincerfely hope that I can make a positive contribution to the Moriches Communities.
